Getting the needs of children from armed forces and veteran families higher on the Scottish government's agenda is a key part of the Forces Children’s Strategy for 2022 to 2025.
The charity has worked with young people to produce its strategy which focuses on improving policy around support for forces children and reaching more of the 12,500 children included in this group across the country.
It also aims to amplify the voices of young people from forces families and improve partnerships around education and learning and mental health and wellbeing.
Evidence-based work around supporting young people to make important transitions, such as moving school or area, as well as enhancing opportunities for young people to be more active in decision making around the support they receive, is also included in the plan.
