Jon Egging Trust (JET), Khulisa and Kids Inspire were selected from 190 applications in Impetus’ first round of open grants and will receive £300,000 in funding between them.

The charities will join Impetus's portfolio of charity partners, including Football Beyond Borders and West London Zone, and work with business professionals from Impetus’ network, who will provide them with management support and project expertise.

JET offers long-term support to vulnerable young people who are struggling to engage at school and may have lost focus, confidence and self-belief. It’s Blue Skies programme, which combines team building and workplace experiences in the STEM, military, space and business sectors, has been designed to develop SEL competencies – with in-school sessions to inspire engagement with learning.
