The charity’s match partnership with children’s craft subscription company toucanBox will see a craft box pledged to one of 45 children’s centres across the UK every time a subscription is bought over the two-week break.

Barnardo’s will then distribute the craft boxes across its services and children’s centres.

ToucanBox provides craft box subscriptions around specific themes for children aged three to eight.

Those purchasing a 1-4-1 gifted box will have their own toucanBox validated with a limited-edition sticker, confirming their part in the partnership.

Virginie Charles-Dear, founder of toucanBox, said: “Partnering with Barnardo’s, a charity that provides a range of services to help and support families was an absolute for our team.  “toucanBox was created with a vision to unleash children’s creativity and to inspire fun through learning. Gifting those in a vulnerable situation and encouraging their ongoing creativity, whilst schools are closed, is our top priority.”
