Rory tells the story of a dog who cannot understand why his owner is acting in a certain way, until it's explained to him that this is because his owner has a problem with alcohol.
It is part of the A Hidden Harm Action Plan for Northern Ireland, which aims to raise awareness of the impact of drug and alcohol on families and to increase the range of support services available to them.
This book is the result of a partnership between training provider Ascert, Barnardo's, The South Eastern Trust and the Public Health Agency's Eastern Drugs and Alcohol Coordination Team who have been working together to develop resources for family members living with a loved one's alcohol or drug problem.
