What does your job involve?

I'm part of a team that provides direct services, training and participation projects through The Children's Society to benefit disabled children and young people in our local community and nationally. My team works in partnership with disabled children and young people to deliver these services.

How do you make a difference?

Our strength lies in being responsive to the feelings, needs and aspirations of disabled children. Our participation group, Time4Change, has demonstrated how working collaboratively with leisure services and schools can help secure the right to equality for all disabled people.
