Lifelong vocation - Vernon Coaker MP, minister for schools and learners

Vernon Coaker has just come out of a heated meeting in his Nottinghamshire constituency. He's been trying to placate irate shopkeepers who are up in arms about parking charges.

Dealing with angry residents might be a challenge, but the minister for schools and learners claims getting involved and meeting people, particularly young people, is one of the best bits of his job.
