What categories of people get food for free? Following this week's political conference shenanigans, KS1 primary kids will be in that blissful state. Then there's those children of any age from low-income households who qualify for and take up free school meals. Add to the list users of food banks. And those who go to soup kitchens and charity meals run by faith and community groups for the destitute. You could include freegans and dumpster divers too, those who fish about in supermarket bins for usable cast-offs.?
Though they don't properly count since they take the freebies rather than wait to be given them.
Such a list barely begins to scratch the surface of the real free food giveaways. I hate to sound like revolutionary Marxist class warrior 1970s throwback. But I must speak as I find. Rich people get most of the free food on offer.
