This week's TV: MPs on estates, children who won't speak, sun-bed addictions

1 min read

Monday 1 February

NB There was supposed to be a Panorama at 8.30pm on BBC1 looking at the child protection register, but it has been replaced by an interview with Kay Gilderdale who helped her bedridden daughter kill herself.

1.20pm More4 3 Minute Wonder: Time for School. Short films about children on their differing journeys to school.

9pm BBC2 The British Family Kirsty Young explores the roles of step-parents and gay mothers and fathers.

9pm Channel 4. Tower Block of Commons. Tune in to see shadow children's minister Tim Loughton sampling life on a Birmingham estate along with three other MPs. I want to see this but I have a low cringe factor - I may have to watch through my hands.
