Provider The Young Women's Movement Scotland

Young women from Fife have created a toolkit to promote safe community spaces across the region, as part of the latest Young Women Lead (YWL) programme, funded by the Scottish government and run by inclusive feminist charity The Young Women's Movement Scotland.

YWL is a six-month regional leadership programme for women and non-binary people aged 16 to 30, providing free training and engagement opportunities with local democracy to help young participants take tangible action on an issue of their choosing.

The programme – which has previously run in Glasgow, Dundee, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire – most recently visited Fife, where the participants chose to focus on creating inclusive and welcoming community spaces.
