Provider Special United collaboration

A group of 10 young people with autism and/or additional needs star in a short film explaining in their own words what schools and other professionals could do to improve life for them.

The video is a collaboration between Special United, Reading’s SEND youth forum, which is part of Reading Families’ Forum (RFF); Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Brighter Futures for Children (BFfC), which provides education and children’s services in Reading.

BFfC operates an Autism Education Trust (AET) hub in Reading that offers specialist training to early years, schools and post-16 settings. The video is being used as part of the training package.
