Provider Street League

Street League has developed a youth board that puts young people's voices at the centre of its work. The charity aims to achieve youth empowerment through sport across the UK, by supporting young people aged 16 to 25 to access education, training and employment.

Launched in 2022, the project to develop the Scottish-based youth board was funded by the People's Postcode Lottery and supported by another charity, Children in Scotland, as part of Street League's youth voice strategy.

Dougie Stevenson, chief executive officer at Street League, says that allowing young people to shape the charity's decisions will improve how it meets young people's needs.
