Wiltshire Police will work with young people in the county as part of efforts to make sure the force provides them with the best service it can. The Swindon Advertiser reports that young people will be invited to tweet questions to the chief constable, enter a writing competition, and meet officers at the youth summit.

Youth charity Diversity Role Models has announced that diversity and inclusion expert Claire Harvey will be its next chief executive. Harvey, who joins from KPMG in March, will take over from founder Suran Dickson who is returning to New Zealand after 14 years in the UK. A GB Paralympian, Harvey developed her expertise in diversity and inclusion through roles in the Criminal Justice System, Financial Services Authority and Youth Sport Trust.

The world's first museum of youth culture could open in London after the team behind it won Lottery backing. The Evening Standard reports that the £69,000 grant will be spent restoring a vast photo archive. Project manager Jamie Brett said the Heritage Lottery Fund grant was a step towards museum status.

Aspiring politicians in Slough have been rewarded for the success of their campaigning at the Houses of Parliament. The Slough Observer reports that Slough Youth Parliament received an award for obtaining a 67 per cent voter turnout in the Make Your Mark ballot last year - the highest turnout in the South East and the second highest in the country.
