The political system in this country is in turmoil as greedy MPs claim taxpayers' money to pay for second home allowances and other luxuries.

If I were in charge of the media I would make sure that everyone who reads newspapers and watches news reports walks away feeling happy and secure, not unhappy, terrified and hateful towards others and their own surroundings.

I would definitely turn the tables, so young people could teach older people. There's so many things young people know that older people need educating about. It would boost confidence amongst young people and show adults that we can teach them rather than them teaching us all the time.

I would make sure every child had access to an advocate, then the child would have someone else to act for them, especially when we don't feel able to do it for ourselves or when by speaking out we can cause big problems in our placement.

I got involved with StreetChance three years ago when coaches came to my school inviting us to play cricket for free at a local community centre. I really like cricket, so I was pleased to have something to do after school.

I recently helped create a radio campaign to celebrate all the hard work teachers do. I jumped at the chance to work in a group with other sixth formers at my school, St Wilfrid's in Crawley.
