I would make sure that young people were consulted every step of the way. At the moment, MPs make decisions that affect every person up to the age of 18, but those who are spending the vast majority of their time at school, college or in employer-based learning aren't asked what changes they would like to see or how their education could be altered to suit their needs.

Tackling cyberbullying

If I were in charge of the media I would make sure that everyone who reads newspapers and watches news reports walks away feeling happy and secure, not unhappy, terrified and hateful towards others and their own surroundings.

I would definitely turn the tables, so young people could teach older people. There's so many things young people know that older people need educating about. It would boost confidence amongst young people and show adults that we can teach them rather than them teaching us all the time.

I would make sure every child had access to an advocate, then the child would have someone else to act for them, especially when we don't feel able to do it for ourselves or when by speaking out we can cause big problems in our placement.
