NYA Update: Young people reveal job fears

Friday, August 19, 2011

Almost one in four (23 per cent) young people feel depressed about their future due to a combination of pressures that harm their confidence, according to a new survey by O2's Think Big programme.

Only half (49 per cent) feel confident they will have a secure job in the next five years, while 72 per cent say there are not enough good quality jobs for young people.

NYA is proud to lead the O2 Think Big partnership with O2, and to provide advice and guidance to O2 in working with young people. We do this through both the Think Big Quality Mark, and our partnerships with a wide range of youth organisations. Learn more at www.o2.co.uk/news.
