NCB Now: Making the most of the resources we have

Building on the findings from the Working it Out and Working for Inclusion programmes, the Improving Practice, Improving Lives: Securing Better Outcomes for Children, Young People and Families event considered the challenges involved in developing a children's sector workforce in Scotland. One which has the capacity to support not only children, but their families and communities as well - empowering them in the fight against child poverty and improving outcomes for all.

A key message from the day was the agreement that an assets-based approach to tackling poverty and raising attainment is needed across the sector, looking at the resources currently available, and supporting and developing them to their full potential.
