Where is it? Grimsby, north east Lincolnshire

Number and age of pupils: 200 pupils aged four to 11

What does it do? After-school clubs providing sporting activities and a recycling cycle club where children work with volunteers to fix up donated bikes. There is also a children's centre on site and the school runs many residential and day trips, to places such as to a working farm.

Who does it work with? The fire brigade teaches cycling proficiency and the school has links with Grimsby Rugby Union FC who provide training sessions.

Who funds it? The local housing authority funds some activities, and the extended schools budget.
