Projects to tackle youth health issues
Tuesday, August 26, 2008
Youth charity YouthHealthTalk has launched two projects to gain an insight into depression and obesity.
The charity is looking for young people to produce a website on weight and health for their peers. YouthHealthTalk hopes the site will be a valuable resource for teachers, health care professionals and others working with children and young people, as well as providing support to help teenagers feel better and manage their weight.
The second project will aim to support young people with mental health problems. It hopes to give an insight into young people's experiences, views and feelings and will give them a chance to voice their experiences and views in their own words.
