Participation: Court group to set up youth board
Tuesday, June 27, 2006
The Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass) is setting up a Young People's Board to improve its services.
The 15-strong board of 14- to 21-year-olds will meet in London every two months from this autumn to advise the board.
The organisation is inviting applications from young people with experience of being in care, or those whose parents have split up and asked the courts to make decisions about them.
The deadline for applications is 30 June.
