I started coming to the Hampton Youth Project three years ago.
I didn't really know anything about youth clubs, but everyone in Year 8 kept saying I should come along. I usually come on Thursdays for street dance, as I'm doing a dance GCSE and I think the classes will help.
We recently got a new climbing wall at the club and I climbed all the way to the top. It looks really high but it wasn't that scary. The youth workers get us involved in team building activities, and in February we went to the Alps for a week to learn how to ski and snowboard. There was a big mixture of people and ages, and there were 10 people from our club. It was brilliant - we're currently bidding for money so we can go again.
We recently held an open day for toddlers, where I led an arts and crafts lesson. It was very messy. I would like to be a youth worker.
