Merton's youth parliament meet

Merton's youth parliament met for the first time last week to coincide with Local Democracy Week.
The elected parliament, which includes the London borough's local UK Youth Parliament members, replaces the council's old youth forum. Members agreed to organise an event to highlight the different cultures in the borough.
