Funding Brief: Increase for Northern Ireland Social Fund

The Northern Ireland Social Fund, which includes Sure Start maternity grants, is to be increased by 1.65m this year to a total of 58.25m. Maternity grants are made to families on low incomes to help meet pre- and post-natal expenses.
