Deaf children brush up on their cricketing skills

Deaf children got to improve their cricket skills with coaching from the Lashings World XI cricket team during a fundraising event for autism charity Treehouse and the National Deaf Children's Society.=
The team, which is made up of international cricket stars past and present, also played a match against staff from finance firm Lombard during the event at Kibworth Cricket Club in Leicestershire. The day saw Lombard donate £5,000 each to Treehouse and the National Deaf Children's Society. Linda Redford, director of national development at Treehouse, said: "We're delighted to accept this donation as it supports Treehouse's new national centre for autism education in north London."
