I spent my summer holidays combining my two passions -- sport and business.
As part of the Business BTEC National Diploma, I'm doing an eight-week internship at Surrey County Cricket Club based at the Kia Oval. Before I started my Career Academy programme, organised by Lambeth College, I was keen to learn about the world of work and was looking forward to putting on smart clothes, experiencing what a working day was really like and earning money.
I have my own desk and computer and am based in the operations department. I am working within the departments that are essential when staging any event.
The highlight was working at the England versus India Npower test match on 18 August. I love cricket and to be a part of that day was brilliant.
