Best thing I ever did

MATTHEW THOMPSON

In December, I took part in a group exchange with the Fusion project (Devon Youth Association) to the Seychelles with seven others. Our themes were tourism and fair trade and exploring the similarities and differences between young people in the UK and in the Seychelles.

There were many similarities in the issues that were important to the Seychellois young people, although it was interesting to explore the differing attitudes to these topics.

Going to the Seychelles was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I feel like I've laid roots there, and the trip has given me a greater drive to achieve my goals.
