Anger over 16-19 funds fiasco

Two of the most senior figures in local authority children's services have written to Children's Secretary Ed Balls to voice "deep concerns" about the 100m funding shortfall resulting from the Learning and Skills Council's (LSC) handling of cash allocations to schools and colleges for 2009/10.
