Ofsted rates Tameside ‘inadequate’ amid rising caseloads

Tameside Council’s children’s services has been handed Ofsted’s lowest rating after an inspection found concerns around rising caseloads, an “over reliance” on temporary staff and “serious failures” in protecting children.
