
George, who rose to fame on reality TV series Love Island, will advise the government and raise the profile of mental health education and wellbeing in schools.
He is a campaigner for children’s mental health after losing his brother to suicide last year.
As part of the unpaid independent position, George will use his clinical expertise and personal experience to help shape policy on improving support for young people in schools, colleges and universities.
