Funding offering support for projects in a range of areas including community development schemes and the promotion of volunteering
The foundation does not specify a maximum amount it will hand out. Typical previous awards to youth groups have included £300 to a project to help run its refugee group.
Funder: The Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank Foundation is a grant-making charity set up by the Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks in 2008.
Aim: The fund looks to support projects across a number of areas. These are environmental protection, promotion of volunteering and citizenship, financial education and community development schemes.
Who can apply?: Applications are regionally specific and must benefit communities in areas covered by bank branches. These are mainly in Scotland, northern England, East Anglia and the Midlands. Applications looking for project costs rather than salary expenses will take priority. Applications from individuals, campaign groups and religious organisations are accepted but those from charities will take priority.
