NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: NYA to map participation

Tuesday, June 24, 2003

The National Youth Agency, in partnership with the British Youth Council and Loughborough University, has been commissioned by the Children and Young People's Unit to map the participation infrastructure for children and young people living in England. The in-depth research will assess children and young people's participation in different structures and systems of decision-making across the voluntary and statutory sectors in England.

The research will help the CYPU target its spending on long-term projects.

Anyone wishing to take part in a pilot of the survey should contact Emily Castle at The NYA on 0116 285 3787 by 27 June 2003 if possible.
