NCB Now: Innovative business ideas needed

Young people are invited to come up with innovative business ideas for a competition funded by Barclays and Channel 4 that provides young people with the chance to decide how 100k is spent. Young people aged between 16 and 21 can submit ideas of ways they would like to spend a share of the money.
There are various ways to participate, either by submitting an idea or by being a stakeholder and using their stakes to vote on ideas – or both. Find out how to involve young people at www.thestake.co.uk.

Everyone who takes part becomes a stakeholder and has a say in which bright ideas get the prize. The 20 ideas with the most support will be judged by a panel, and up to six young people will have their ideas funded.

Participants are encouraged to learn money management skills at www.barclaysmoneyskills.com and take part in the competition until it closes on 23 December. Action for Children is working in partnership with Barclays to provide money management courses to young people at its centres across the UK.
