The non-departmental public body has produced a package of support on the targeted youth support service reforms, including an online toolkit. It has also been asked to work with the areas piloting the latest initiatives to come out of the youth opportunity card scheme.
The Government has announced that £14.5m from the original opportunity card pilots, which were abandoned in February, will go on local schemes.
Youth minister Beverley Hughes said: "It's about improving what is available locally, but in a way that puts young people in the driving seat."
