Youth Justice News: Health referrals are ignored by young

Results from 75 teams show a wide variation in attendance. The average figure is 38 per cent.

Deryck Browne, policy development manager at Nacro, said that there were some examples of good practice: "We have found health workers working with child and adolescent mental health services staff on home visits." Nacro conducted the research to help with guidance it is producing for the Department for Education and Skills and the Department of Health.
