Smart Justice for Young People is holding an event to showcase the achievements of young offenders, and those at risk of offending. Groups have been working with artists on dance, drama, film and art projects.
A DVD will be made at the event to raise awareness of how community sentencing can lead to positive achievements. This will be circulated to ministers and policymakers, and the campaign organisers are also hoping to get an early day motion put forward in Parliament to gauge MPs' support for the cause.
Lucie Russell, director of Smart Justice, said: "We've got to focus on tackling the reasons why young people offend."
