Project: Youth Justice Film Roadshow
Funding: Telford & Wrekin Council
Aim: Improve public confidence in the justice system
Films featuring experiences of what happens to young people after they have been arrested are being shown in Telford to boost public confidence in the justice system.
The initiative, spearheaded by Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Youth Offending Service, was created to give people an insight into the work the team does, including schemes such as restorative justice.
The films have already been shown in Telford town centre and will be screened at public events in the future.
During the screenings members of the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Youth Offending Service are joined by representatives of the West Mercia Criminal Justice Board to answer questions from the public about the film and their work.
