MY FIRST CD WARM-UP
Aim - This icebreaker creates a fun opportunity to get to know each other and opens up discussions about musical preferences.
You will need
- Post-it notes
- Pens
- A bowl
How to do it - Hand each young person a pen and a Post-it note. On it they should write the name of the first CD they ever bought with their own money. Once they have done this they should fold the paper into four, so that no one else can see it. When everyone has finished, collect the folded papers in the bowl.
Shake the bowl to mix up the papers and randomly pull one out, open it and read it aloud to the young people. They should then try to guess who it belongs to. If a person guesses correctly they can come and select the next paper to be opened.
