Michael da Silva, 18, London - "I drink mostly at weekends when I go to pubs and clubs. I drink more when I feel better, then I get wasted. Some people get really drunk and do stupid things. The girls that go out with us don't want to drink because they don't want us to drag them to our house"

Tanya Coutts, 18, Grays, Essex - "I drink moderately, usually on family occasions. Sometimes my friends go out and get smashed, off their faces, but I don't like it. You can have a good time without getting drunk. There should be more education about the dangers, but so many off-licences sell to people underage"
