Young people are in charge for 11 Million Takeover Day

Eighteen-year-old Talha Ghannam came in to the offices of CYP Now on Friday 23 November to help with the running of the magazine, shadowing editor Ravi Chandiramani.

The experience was part of the children's commissioner's first 11 Million Takeover Day, in which more than 5,000 young people took over the jobs of adults across England. Talha (left) is a youth participation officer at The National Youth Agency. Elsewhere, Children's Secretary Ed Balls was joined for a day and a half by Charlotte Pridham, a Diana Award holder.
