Young Offenders: Sexual behaviour unit to be created

The Inappropriate Sexual Behaviour Unit is expected to work in partnership with Birmingham Youth Offending Team to support those young people most in need of help.

The unit is in the process of being set up and is looking for staff, according to sources at the youth offending team. It is expected to be fully operational within months.

Officials at the unit have already signed a two-year contract with the Loud Mouth Educational Theatre Company to provide therapeutic work for young people referred to it.
