Groups have criticised plans in Planning better outcomes and support for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, in responses to the consultation, which ended last week. They argue the proposals are in "stark contrast" to other government initiatives such as Care Matters and Every Child Matters.

I think the agenda behind removing support at 16 is to cut ties with foster families so they can be removed from the UK easier."
