Youth Justice
The use of controversial body scanners will form part of a review on strip-searching across the juvenile secure estate, it has emerged.

Last week, CYP Now revealed that body orifice scanning system (Boss) chairs will be set up in young offender institutions by the end of May.

The Youth Justice Board (YJB) has now confirmed that a review of strip-searching, due to be published in the summer, will evaluate the chairs as well as the use of other high-tech devices.
