Trainee youth and community worker (Reading): 17,940-23,790

Pay scales depend on qualifications. Most positions ask for a diploma in youth or community work or equivalent in a related field, such as teaching. Pay is often based on the Joint Negotiating Committee scale - which is composed of four levels, including trainee level - and points depending on the seniority of the job.
