Wolverhampton's chief children's services officer and Oldham's commissioning manager would both handle the commissioning of children's services, although the Wolverhampton position also involves additional duties. Barnet's manager handles the commissioning of services for children in care. The contracts officer is charged with writing and managing contracts with services that are commissioned.
