Childcare Act 2006: Future Approach to Fees and Subsidies

Comments are sought on the proposed structure and level of fees payable to Ofsted by childcare providers joining the Early Years Register or compulsory part of the Ofsted Childcare Register from September 2008 as well as proposals for changes to the subsidy arrangements.

The Looked-After Children (Scotland) Regulations: Consultation on Draft Regulations

This consultation is inviting views on a draft set of regulations, which revise and update those concerning fostering and looked-after children. Regulations are currently contained in the Arrangements to Look After Children (Scotland) Regulations 1996; the Fostering of Children (Scotland) Regulations 1996 and the Residential Establishments - Child Care (Scotland) Regulations 1996.
