13 September - 8.00pm It's My Story - Teenage Kicks. Radio 4 . Teenagers are to be given compulsory classes in British values, but many people believe they need lessons in family life. This programme follows parents struggling to cope with their violent offspring.

- 9.00pm Born to be Different. Channel 4. The series has been following six children since birth, revealing what it is like to be a child growing up with a disability. This programme catches up with the youngsters in their sixth and seventh years.

14 September - 9.00pm Dread Beat an' Blood. Community Channel. Built around black Brixton-based poet Linton Kwesi Johnson, this film addresses the problems of Britain's young urban black people.

16 September - 12.30am Rhymes and Crime. Community Channel. Presented by rap artist Big Cakes, this documentary explores whether music has links to the rising level of firearms.

17 September - 9.30am Parents and Teens: Welcome to My World. Channel 4. A series exploring family life from two perspectives. This episode looks at 15-year-old ice-skating champion Peaches, and her hard-working mum Sue.
