Website promotes social pedagogy

Social Care
A website to help children's workers adopt a social pedagogy approach has gone live.

The site, created by a group of experts, provides information about the approach and will send out newsletters on fresh developments in social pedagogy.

The group behind the site includes: Claire Cameron from the Thomas Coram Research Unit; Jonathan Stanley, manager of the National Centre for Excellence in Residential Child Care; Social Education Trust trustee David Crimmens; and social pedagogue Stefan Kleipoedszus.

Stanley said: "The website provides a one-stop point of reference for the development of social pedagogy in the UK."
