What is the biggest challenge currently facing health visitors?
The cuts to public health budgets. We all know what to do and how to do it, but if we don't have the resources, we can't do it. What happens is that health visitor numbers go down and caseloads go up, and many families get a very poor service and lots of things get missed. Then you get children not school-ready.
