Kyle's dad, a musician and poet, helped to run workshops at the event,which was organised by independent foster care agency Foster CareAssociates (FCA).
It included performing arts, workshops, exhibitions and displaysinvolving looked-after children and young people. A presentation ofcertificates to looked-after children and young people took place, inrecognition of their creative achievements.
Jeanne Wilson, FCA Black workers group chair, said: "By embracing thecreativity of so many talented individuals, FCA is proud to demonstrateits appreciation of our multi-cultural society. Black History Month hasprovided a platform to make this a reality."
