It includes a summary of the findings from a recent survey to identify the extent of children's trusts and strategic partnerships' knowledge of and use of Hear by Right - The NYA's standards for the active involvement of children and young people. This shows that both use and impact is growing. Half of those responding to the survey identified changes to structures or services as a result of Hear by Right. These included setting up youth forums and youth parliaments, including children and young people in various reference groups dealing with the allocation of resources, performance monitoring and outcome reviews, and involving children and young people in processes such as staff recruitment. The full report is available at www.nya.org.uk/hearbyright.
