Make sure they let Youth Action know.
Youth Action is the The National Youth Agency's must-read magazine promoting and celebrating young people's active involvement in their communities. Work is now beginning on the spring 2006 issue, which will be published in May to support Volunteers' Week (1 to 7 June). More than 40,000 copies will be distributed to organisations working with young people.
We are looking for features on all aspects of young people's volunteering, written by or with young people.
Activities covered in the autumn 2005 issue of Youth Action included peer education on mental health issues, campaigning for skateparks or to make poverty history, producing magazines for local young people, representing other young people through youth councils, cleaning up local beaches, and volunteering in hospitals, libraries and youth centres.
